• The Jaybird-Woodpecker War (1888-1889).

Today:
• Studies show that more than 80% of large metropolitan areas in the United States were more segregated in 2019 than they were in 1990.
• Stacey Abrams is a modern day advocate for voting rights to fight against the same exact thing that was listed in Douglass' letter.
• Trump vs Kamala; Democrat vs Republican; Red vs Blue; Black vs White.

From 1888 to 2024 it appears that time stood still. The figure of speech states that insanity is like doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, but do you know what the most constant thing is? CHANGE!
